Creative collaborations
I’ve been lucky enough to work with musicians from around the world in bands and for a range of music projects, large and small. Everybody involved always brings something unique- experience, vision, imagination, creativity, passion, determination, energy, a voice, and an unbelievable amount of musical talent. Over the years, I’ve worked with many awesome musicians including ‘The Luke Buirski Project’, ‘Shrink the Sun’, ‘The Ang Mo Trio’, ‘3how’, ‘Silent State’, ‘The Roach & Toasty Project’, ‘Ragga Jump’ and, for the last eight years, have performed keyboards and vocals for, ‘Living in the 70s’ classic rock tribute band.
Other than band collaborations and live performances, I also enjoy being in the recording studio. I’ve been able to record various keys and vocal parts for many musicians over the years. Being in the studio is such an immersive experience. You get the time to listen, respond musically, then try something else. Live music doesn’t let you explore that side of the creative process, and I love both sides!
Looking at some of the photos that I’ve been sent, or given, since starting to perform in front of live audiences, makes me realise how far I’ve come as a musician and how privileged I am to work alongside so many talented people -including the photographers who come along to capture us doing what we love!
